FIRE HYDRANT VALVES
The SFV hydrant diaphragm valve is a soft seated, non-seize concept designed for fire fighting duties. The internal mechanisms are of the non-rising enclosed designed, protecting the valve from the environment. The valve being of a soft seated design enables 100% closure with assurity that the valve will open and function even after lengthy periods of non-use.The hydrant diaphragm valve is designed for extremely arduous conditions and all environments form off shore top side to tank farms and tank cleansing.
The SFV diaphragm valve has been accepted for the purpose of the merchant shipping (fire appliances) regulation 1980 by the department of transport. The product is type tested and approved by Lloyds register of shipping in accordance with S.O.L.A.S.1960 and 1974 regulations.

BODY STYLES
The SFV hydrant diaphragm valve is available in many body style configurations such as straight, bib nosed and right angled designs including inlet and outlet, flanged PN10/18, ANSI 150/300, BST table D/E/F and JIS, male, female, instantaneous, Storz. The materials of construction are widely accepted in Gun metal to BS EN 1982:2008, also available in ductile iron. Current sizes are DN 65 mm and serves the majority of industrial requirements.
FIRE RETARDANT DIAPHRAGMS
SFV Diaphragm are produced in a variety of options, fire grade Hypalon, Nitrile and ViTile rubbers, all SFV hydrant diaphragms are reinforced with Warramid which is a fabric reinforced Kevlar fabric to sustain its mechanical integrity. Each diaphragm is respectively coloured coded to identify its blend to ensure the correct diaphragm is used for the correct duty.
